Idaho-grown forage science, built to keep feed value where it belongs — in the feed.

Nurturite, LLC was founded in 2007 in Twin Falls, Idaho — the heart of one of the most productive hay and dairy regions in the country. We saw growers lose real money every season to weather, heating, mold, and poor fermentation, and we set out to change that with better science.
Our approach pairs emulsified silicone technology with fermentation-enhancing enzymes — protecting forage physically from moisture and oxygen while steering fermentation in the right direction biologically. In 2010, that product line earned the Idaho Commercialized Innovation Award.

Moisture drives spoilage — it feeds the molds and clostridial bacteria that rob nutrients from your forage. Our silicone treatments create a breathable barrier that sheds rain and dew, while our enzyme products go to work immediately with no bacterial activation required.
The result: hay that stays green and leafy, silage that ferments clean, and livestock that get more out of every ration.
From alfalfa growers protecting a premium export crop to dairies securing a year of feed, Nurturite programs are built around each operation's crops, equipment, and climate.

Protect color, leaf, and test — the things hay buyers pay for.

Cleaner fermentation and less spoilage mean more milk and gain from home-grown feed.

Reliable application systems that keep up with high-volume chopping and baling.
